She will serve a one-year term as president-elect starting January 1, 2019, and will start her term as president of APS in January 2020. Hogue Professorship in Electrical Engineering in the Ming Hsieh Department of Electrical Engineering, was named president-elect of IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society (APS), one of the largest societies within IEEE with over 8,000 members.
